Baby's 1st Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving my parents invited us over to their house in Boise Idaho. What a great visit that was. I was a little apprehensive at first about traveling alone with Bryce but he did great. Happy as a clam. Bryce and I flew over on Wednesday and Jim followed Thanksgiving morning as he had to work wednesday. We all flew home together.

It was fun to get a way for a while and to go "home" for Thanksgiving. My brother Jon, my sister Marlies and her husband Dave, and my grandma were also there. Mom made a wonderful meal with all the trimmings. Bryce even got to eat some of the foods like mashed potatoes and yams. He loved all the attention and really enjoyed being up at the table with everyone. Mom had gotten this stroller that converted into a seat that fit great at the table. He loved playing imitation games and banging on the table.

We played games such as Settlers of Catan, mexican train dominoes and watched a couple of movies together. We also went on a hike at Bogus Basin which was a tough climb but so worth it at the top! The view was gorgeous!

Bryce also started making more babbling noises and started getting more on his knees and trying to crawl. Here are a few pictures of our adventures in Idaho.

Jim is looking forward to having someone to play on the slides with him. Bryce is not so sure of them now.

Boy's best friend. Bryce loved my parents' dogs Bucky and Skeeter! He squealed with delight when he saw them and they licked him.

Nice hat Opa,but I'm not Jewish.
