Bryce is now fourteen months and boy has he grown. He now runs all over the place and has started climbing onto furniture (chairs mainly). He loves walking himself to the car when it's time to go which has been a back saver for me. He has a rocking horse that he loves to ride on the patio. He'll sit there and rock while he looks out over the backyard and watches the birds and dogs. He loves helping Oma water the garden and count the plants. He tries to smell the flowers but doesn't quite understand the concept of sniffing. He puts his cheek to the flowers and blows. It's still pretty cute.

When it's warm outside we'll eat on the patio which to Bryce is like heaven! He enjoys everything outdoors. He is doing really well with his swim lessons. He has gotten the hang of jumping into the water to me and floating on his tummy. He doesn't like his back much or going under water. He especially loves throwing his toy boat or duck and then "swimming" to it. He also enjoys all the songs we sing and giving the teacher a high five at the end.
I got to say my little boy is getting tanner than I am! Luck boy got Jim's skin tone.He has also become VERY blonde. Almost white like I was as a kid.
Well that's about it. I've got another 5-8 weeks left before Lil' spud is due to arrive. He is happily kicking away and growing.I'm feeling great except I over heat quickly. Dad had mercy on me and turned the AC on. He usually doesn't want to turn it on until the triple digits but with 85-90+ degrees I was getting pretty miserable! We still have no house of our own and are living with my parents which is going alright. Our house is Lynnwood, Wa is still needing renters although I think we finally got 3 out of 4 rooms rented. So that's progress. We still haven't found a church home however have found a church we enjoy...so we'll see.
I enjoy being in the pool with Bryce every day. That has really helped with the heat although it really isn't that bad here. There's always a nice breeze and their porch stays about 10-15 degrees cooler than the outside world. I have decided to join the MOPS group at my parents' church as a way to get out and to meet people. A couple in our birth class just moved here a year ago and said they didn't feel quite settled in until after 6 months. I've got a long way to go if that's true! I've only been here a month and a half.
