Interesting Tidbits

I find it interesting how when I'm pregnant all the pregnant women come out of the wood work. It seems there are tons of new babies coming this spring and summer at church. In our Bible study/Sunday school group there are at 6 that I can think of! It's like when you are shopping for a new car (like the Lexis RX 350 i want) you see them everywhere.

Another thing I was thinking about this morning is how pregnancy can do some weird things with my body and emotions. For example, this time around anytime someone uses a phrase like "this car is toast" I suddenly find myself thinking"toast... that sounds good right now!". Or "that was a piece of cake" ...."ooooh cake! yum!" It makes conversations hard for me. I always leave so hungry. lol Or another funny pregnancy thing is I find I have expectations I am unaware of. This just frustrates Jim. He'll say why don't you just tell me you are expecting that and then things would be better. The only problem is until that moment I didn't know I was expecting that.

Bryce is continuing to grow and is wanting to stand up more these days. Since it has started to warm up a little here and the sun has been shining, Bryce likes to go over and knock on the door wanting me to open it. I've been leaving the door open a lot during the afternoon and he likes to go out on the front deck and play in the rocks. So far he hasn't tried to sample any.

Here's a picture of him enjoying the sun on the deck.

Bryce's Dedication

Sorry for the long absence of posts. It has been very busy here. On Sunday Feb. 10th we had Bryce dedicated to the Lord at our church. Our pastor was out sick so the youth pastor Josh Julian did the dedication. It was great! Bryce was the only one so we had VIP treatment. A lot of the family and our friends came so we all got to go in the side door and sit together. Bryce looked so handsome in his new collared shirt. He loved all the attention and by the end of the day he was DONE!

I have started back to work this month which has been a good thing. I enjoy getting out of the house and doing something different but come home extremely tired! Jim has been a big help in managing the chores for me.

As it is Thankful Thursday, here is my list of thankfulness. Happy Valentine's day!

10)I'm thankful I am not throwing up EVERY morning just a few.

9) I'm thankful I am back to work even though it makes me tired.

8) I'm thankful for the support we have received from our family.

7) I'm thankful for the roof over our heads and for God who is faithful in providing the money to keep it over our heads.

6) I'm thankful for a son who is so happy to be alive and gets excited to see me in the mornings and Jim in the evening.

5) I'm thankful for this new little one growing inside me and the wonder of motherhood.

4) I'm thankful for an employer who understands and takes good care of me.
