Easter

Happy Easter everyone!! 

After my last post being so gloomy I thought I better post a more positive one.

For Easter we spent the day with my parents as is our norm

al Sunday routine. For dinner though we had 3 other couple join us. Two of them were long time friend

s of my parents, they watched my siblings and I grow up. The third couple were new friends of my parents. We had a great time!

This was Grant's first Easter. He and his brother enjoyed opening their Easter present from Opa and Oma. It was a Veggie Tale book called an Easter Carol. 

Grant has really grown fond of my parents two Lollies (Lab-b

order collie mix) dogs. He just squeals with delight when they come over to him. Bucky will lay down and let Grant crawl all over him and do whatever he wants.  Skeeter likes to lick him which makes him laugh.

Bryce loves to follow Opa everywhere and " see what Opa doing". He also is big into tractors and enjoys watching Farmer Ted work with his tractor. (Farmer Ted is my parents neighbor.)

urch and then at home with daddy. He is really good at finding them too.  On a side note... we got a call from the Quick care clinic saying he neede

d to be seen by the Orthopedist as he had a fract

ure in his leg.(This was from his injury 2 weeks ago) Why they reviewed his x-rays  days later I don't know. We had been told there was nothing really wrong with him and that he could resume normal activity...which he was doing and there were no more symptoms. Well, today we went to see the Orthopedist who told us for this kind of fracture (Buckle Fracture) they would cast his whole leg. But seeing that Bryce was

 running, jumping, climbing and walking with no complaints o

f pain and acted like a normal 2 year old he asked for new x-rays. These should that his fracture was almost healed.. so the Dr. said nothing further w

as needed to be done. I felt like the whole appointment was a waste of time and money for us as I could have told you he was healed by the Great Physician!
